How Straightaway started

I'm David Haynes. I own Straightaway, and I'm the one who'll be cleaning your car.

The story

David really likes cars. When his parents gifted him a 2011 V8 Camaro, he fell in love with it, and with keeping it right. Since then he's spent his time practicing and studying how to clean a car properly and how to keep it that way.

Straightaway is how he shares that craft. The goal is simple: help you appreciate your vehicle the way he appreciates his.

The business is new to the Munford and Oxford area, and David runs it by himself. There's no crew. When you book with Straightaway, he's the one who shows up and does the work.

Why “Straightaway”

In racing, the straightaway is the part of the track where cars are performing at their best. With Straightaway Detailing, our job is to get your car looking its best.

Speed

I show up on time and work efficiently, but I don't rush the parts that matter.

Precision

I clean the seams, vents, door jambs and corners that usually get skipped.

Love for cars

I love cars and racing, so I treat your car the way I'd want mine treated.

What's in the kit

What I bring to every job.

  • Foam gun
  • Portable electric pressure washer
  • Vacuum with detail attachments
  • Carpet shampooer
  • Interior steamer
  • Clay bar kit
  • Ceramic protectant
  • Convertible top cleaner
  • Detail brushes and sprays

Mostly mobile, for now. Straightaway doesn't have its own water tank or generator yet, so I need power and water within 50 feet of the car. Going fully mobile is the next step.
